PERSPECTIVES / ABOUT LIWAY

A new light on the familiar.

LIWAY is an independent editorial destination for artful everyday living.

We explore the potential of everyday spaces through thoughtful design, useful discoveries, and a more personal perspective on home.

Our name draws inspiration from liwayway, the Filipino word for dawn. For us, it represents a way of seeing: with warmth, curiosity, and an openness to possibility.

Our Filipino sensibility informs our appreciation for resourcefulness, belonging, and the beauty of familiar things. But our outlook is not limited to one culture, aesthetic, or way of living.

We believe a considered home can take many forms—colorful or quiet, collected or minimal, traditional or contemporary.

Artful everyday living.

We are interested in the connection between an object and the life around it.

What does it help you do? How does it work in your space? What is it made from? And what should you know before bringing it home?

Through stories, practical guides, and carefully researched selections, LIWAY celebrates homes that reflect the people who live in them.

Our aim is simple: to help you see familiar spaces with fresh eyes and make more informed, personal choices.
